**Position Information**:
Model Farms High School is a large co-educational, comprehensive high school in north-western Sydney, with an enrolment of 1073 students, including 1% Aboriginal students and 16% who use English as an additional language or dialect. The school has an established record of excellence in academic and sporting pursuits as well as diverse programs in the area of creative and performing arts. The school includes a support unit of four classes, with three Autism Spectrum Disorder classes and a Moderate Intellectual Disability class. **Selection Criteria**:
- Approval to teach Food Technology and Technology Mandatory (ITX, Year 7 and 8)
- Capacity to plan and implement differentiated teaching programs/strategies to cater for the learning needs of all students.
- Demonstrated ability to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create a classroom environment that is supportive and positive which fosters student engagement.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication and skills with the capacity to work with others and contribute positively to faculty and whole school programs.
