Media Advisor

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Media Advisor to support Eightcap’s global media presence. As part of our Global Marketing Team, you will play a key role in executing Eightcap’s media relations strategy by securing top-tier media coverage, driving brand visibility and ensuring consistent messaging across all media interactions. You’ll help elevate Eightcap’s presence through creative storytelling, strategic media outreach and effective crisis management.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Media relations & content creation**: Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and influencers in the fintech and business space; draft press releases, media pitches, and create content (articles, blogs, op-eds) to support Eightcap’s messaging.
- **Campaign & event support**:Assist with executing PR campaigns and managing media events, conferences, and speaking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
- **Media monitoring & reporting**: Track media coverage and trends, providing insights to optimise strategies and enhance brand visibility.
- **Stakeholder & partner engagement**: Collaborate with internal teams and partner communications to ensure consistent messaging and amplify Eightcap’s brand.
- **Creative storytelling & coverage**: Pitch compelling stories, secure top-tier media coverage, and elevate Eightcap’s thought leadership in fintech, tech and trading sectors.
- **Crisis management**:Manage proactive and reactive media interactions, ensuring consistent messaging during high-pressure situations.

**About you?**
- Experience in media relations, public relations, copywriting or journalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for crafting compelling press releases, media pitches and messaging.
- Ability to manage proactive and reactive media interactions while ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Exposure to issues management, maintaining composure and ensuring clear messaging during high-pressure situations.
- A fast-paced adaptable approach to thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.
- Ability to analyse media coverage and insights and use data to refine PR and media strategies.
- Hands-on experience creating media content including articles, blog posts, press releases and thought leadership content.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, legal, compliance and leadership teams.
- Ambition and drive, with an eagerness to grow, take initiative and expand your expertise in media relations.
