This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading Statutory Authority seeks experienced Communications and Media Advisor to manage and deliver content and strategic communications advice **Communications and Media Advisor opportunity** *** - Approx. $60-$65 per hour plus super depending on experience. - Assignment duration is up to 3 months. Immediate start. - Melbourne CBD location. **Your new role** **Statutory Authority seeks an experienced Communications and Media Advisor to join them on a short-term assignment for a duration of up to a period of 3-month based in Melbourne CBD. As a Communications and Media Advisor, you will manage and deliver content and strategic communications advice across various channels to inform and increase engagement. The position requires a keen eye for detail, ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects, and be a confident communicator. **Key responsibilities** - prepare and review communications collateral including messaging, digital content, promotional material, staging and schedules, as well as provide support for campaigns, events and initiatives. - assist in monitoring, moderating and developing content for online responses on social media and establish a proactive media online presence. - prepare media releases, publicity packages / media kits to support events, partnerships and sponsorships. **Key Selection Criteria** - 4+ years' experience in a Corporate Communications or Media role. - Demonstrable experience in producing high quality communications collateral i.e. promotions, digital campaigns, media releases, briefings. - Knowledge of current social media and digital communication tools, rules, processes and procedures. - Demonstrated track record of strong project management/ publications delivery, engaging stakeholders and achieving desired outcomes. - Exceptional time management skills, managing multiple and competing priorities. - High competency in Microsoft Office Suite. **Qualifications** - Relevant tertiary Communications qualification or extensive work experience in a related field is desirable. - Triple COVID-19 vaccinated will be required. - A current car licence will be required. **How to Apply** Click "APPLY NOW" forwarding a copy of your resume and cover letter highlighting your communications and media experience and skills, your government experience, and your suitability for the role.
