**Your new company**

Your new company is a leading Federal Government Organisation in the Defence service space. The organisation is committed to caring for our veterans and the defence service community.

**Your new role**

Business and Data Analysts are needed to support the existing team to work with Department business areas to understand their reporting requirements, the business environment and data, and then restructure this data for broader reporting and analytic use.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that requirements are well understood and documented;
- Profile data sources to determine the correct data source to meet data requirements;
- Prototype interim data solutions to seek business rule validation and speed up data engineering automation activities and to perform testing;
- Build and maintain data definition descriptors & database structures, such as tables, views, indexes, and constraints;
- Quality assure the transformation and flow process and undertake data quality checks. This includes testing and documentation of testing outcomes and acceptance criteria
