Nambour, Australia Superior Home Health Services Full time

**Superior Home Health Services** are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate NDIS Support Workers to join our team in the **Gympie, and Sunshine Coast** **Region** for clients in Nambour, Gympie, Sunshine Coast**, **and surrounding areas. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You'll be self-motivated and love providing a supportive and enabling environment to those you support.

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client;
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties;
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support;
- Providing support with social and recreational activities;
- Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications;
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;
- Responding to emergency situations; and
- Working weekend shifts as rostered

**Essential Criteria**:

- Manual handling and hoisting
- Experience with mental health and physical disability
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- **Must be available for rotating shifts on weekends (am and pm)**:

- NDIS Worker Screening including Blue Card (or equivalent)
- 1 year + experience (preferably community)

PPE and First Aid Kits and uniform provided.

Casual hours: up to 38 hours per week (negotiable)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
