Little Wings is a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting NSW regional families and their seriously ill children by providing free and safe transportation to the Children’s Hospitals in Sydney and Newcastle and home again.Little Wings is a charity flight service owner-operator in the aviation industry that meets or exceeds all of the CASA safety regulations. Little Wings also operates a fleet of modern Hyundai vehicles for safe and comfortable return transfers from Bankstown airport or the metro airports to the Children's Hospitals. The Little Wings organisation relies upon its loyal core of volunteer pilots and drivers to deliver service excellence.Our vision is for every child regardless of geographical location to receive rapid and easy access to specialised medical services.This position is based at Bankstown Aerodrome.
**CURRENT OPPORTUNITY**
The Charity Housie Manager is an exciting new role responsible for the conduct and management of Charity Housie sessions within designated clubs in NSW. The role will be initially contracted for 12 months with the option to extend to permanency. The contracted days will be 3 per week, requiring flexibility to work evenings and weekends.We are looking for someone passionate and motivated to champion our mission to support families from regional and rural NSW as they care for their sick child. We need someone hardworking, charismatic, and dedicated to working with purpose every day.As Charity Housie Manager, you report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The primary purpose of the position is to raise funds for the charity through the conduct of Charity Housie to the satisfaction of the contracted clubs, our Charity Housie patrons, and in compliance with fundraising regulations. This includes the management of key relationships with Club venues and the development of new relationships to ensure fundraising targets are met.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
Ensure that all Charity Housie sessions are run efficiently and effectively in accordance with fundraising permit requirements, Club requirements and our standards
Charity Housie budget setting, including regularly monitoring the performance and profitability of sessions working with the Finance Manager to implement changes as required
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Club management including regular visits to seek feedback
Oversee the recruitment, training, rostering and management of a team of Charity Housie staff
Target and develop opportunities for new Charity Housie sessions and venues ensuring fundraising targets are met

Part-time hours: 22.80 per week
**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
