**_ About the Opportunity:_**

In this role, you’ll provide care and companionship for older people living in their own homes, to help empower their independence and improve their quality of life in **Narooma and Surrounding areas.** You’ll be required to travel to client’s homes and communities, using your own car.

**_ Depending on your qualifications and experience, the role will include:_**
- **Home Assistance**:Housekeeping, grocery shopping and meal preparation
- **Personal care**: Assisting with personal care, showering, dressing, mealtime support and medication administration.
- **Transport**:Providing transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social support activities.

**_ Who we’re looking for:_**
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent. **If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there**:

- Provisional or full Australian driver's license and access to a full comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care.
- Flexible and prepared to help meet the changing needs and schedules of our home care clients.
- Empathetic and resourceful and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
