**The Opportunity**:
Do you love working outdoors? We have opportunities to join our Hardwood Plantation Division as a Forestry Worker in Narooma or Batemans Bay which will see you performing a variety of field-based tasks in the great outdoors. You will also be part of the organization’s fire readiness strategy.

**About the role**:
The role is to provide essential firefighting support to Forestry Corporation of NSW during periods of elevated fire danger. Outside of fire season, you’ll assist our permanent workforce with a variety of field-based forestry operations across our plantations and native forests.
**We would love you to have/be**:

- Experience in bushfire fighting
- Team player with the ability to work extended hours
- Knowledge and understanding of forestry management and protection, including weed and pest control, fire management, planning and suppression, and silviculture.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Demonstrated skills and/or experience in forestry, farming, environmental programs, outdoor or construction works.
- Hold and maintain a valid driver’s licence (and other relevant licenses)
