Are you an experienced and motivated Mental Health Support Worker looking to support others with mental health challenges and challenging behaviours? Care Talent is looking for dedicated individuals like you to join our team located around **Bendigo** and all surrounding areas.

**About the Role**

As a Disability Support Worker with Care Talent, you will be an essential part of our team. You will be assisting and supporting individuals in both their homes and community. Your role will be diverse and will include offering emotional support, assisting individuals engage and connect to their environment and community as well as day to day tasks. Together we want to provide a supportive and value drive environment so that individuals are given the confidence to have a voice and the ability to thrive.

**Key Requirements**:

- Prior experience in Australia supporting individuals with mental health and challenging behaviours
- Ability to adapt communication techniques, especially when challenges arise
- Demonstrate strong ability to advocate for others and provide emotional support
- Able to work independently and in a team to make a positive impact and achieve common goals

**Must Have**:

- Completed a minimum Cert 3 Indiviual Support/ Disability
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Medication Administration Certificate and experience
- Fully vaccinated with Covid vaccination/Booster and Flu
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Working With Children Check
- Current Drivers licence with reliable transport
- Flexible availability for shifts

Pay: $43.00 - $94.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
