**About this role**
Are you an emerging
 **Economist **with experience working on major infrastructure projects? We’re on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our Australasia region Economics Advisory team. This high impact role you will see you helping to shape the future of the cities in which we live, work and play, and the future of Arup’s Advisory business. This will involve supporting client engagement, work winning, and project delivery. Every day you will have the opportunity to push boundaries and create new possibilities for our clients as you collaborate with and learn from other brilliant minds.
**What will I do?**
- Provide timely and quality economics advice to clients, and respond to client requirements
- Support delivery of economics work streams within multiple concurrent projects
- Undertake economic analyses for major infrastructure projects across Australia and SE Asia, which will involve building and running economic models (input-output analyses and Cost Benefit Analyses)
- Provide economic analyses for projects led by other Arup businesses to help explain the ‘social and economic impacts’ of solutions they propose to clients
**What will I bring?**
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, economics or similar
- 1-2 years’ experience as an Economist a consulting environment or as an Analyst at an audit firm
- Proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with economic and/or financial analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm for developing socially useful project outcomes
