**About the business**

Ten Minutes by Tractor is one of Australia’s leading producers of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay based on the Mornington Peninsula and a highly regarded fine dining restaurant. In 2006, we opened our award-winning restaurant and cellar door in its current location in Main Ridge, in November 2019 we opened our new Cellar Door and restaurant after an extensive redevelopment.

Our two hatted, fine-dining restaurant is looking for experienced service professionals who thrive in service, love providing an unmatched guest experience, are keen to continue honing their skills within the hospitality industry, and enjoy learning about wine.

**Position details**:

- Full/part-time or casual opportunities available
- Rotating weekly roster, primarily Thursday-Sunday
- Above award remuneration and excellent working conditions
- On-going regular training and bi-annual performance review

**Section Waiter duties**:

- Responsible for section and delivering sequence of service
- Ambassador for restaurant and focusing on producing brilliant guest experience.
- Understand our pairings and ability to pour and announce wine.
- Prepare restaurant for service and follow clear procedures
- Polishing cutlery, crockery, and glassware
- Have a confident understanding of contemporary dining principles
- Proven experience in high quality establishment / Fine-dining experience highly regarded
- Be available to work weekends
- Be passionate about hospitality and wine
- Knowledge of the Mornington region advantageous
- Well-presented, with a courteous and confident character
- Have a collaborative mentality and strong work-ethic
- Reliable transport to Red Hill (we are unfortunately not on any public transport lines)

Sponsorship opportunities are only available after the probationary period (3-6mths).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent

Pay: $27.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
