Rehabilitation Consultant

**About the Opportunity**

We have an exciting and diverse opportunity for a Rehabilitation Consultant from an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Psychologist discipline to join our growing team on a Contractor basis.

You will be assisting individuals to recover from injury and return to work through a client-centered approach, focusing on health and well-being. You’ll be managing a portfolio of cases including Workers Compensation, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) and Workplace Health & Safety Assessments.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you are an integral piece of someone’s recovery, you support them through their rehab journey and guide them through the process.

- Assisting individuals to recover from injury and return to work through a client-centered approach, focusing on health and wellbeing.
- Managing a portfolio of cases including Workcover WA and CTP claims.
- Undertake Vocational assessments, initial needs assessments and worksite assessments.
- Deliver Vocational Counselling, facilitate interventions and wellbeing programs.
- Collaborate and liaise with employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
- Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders

The role will suit someone who will be able to engage and maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.

- At least 1 year of Occupational Rehabilitation Consulting experience
- Extensive Workcover WA Legislative knowledge.
- You must hold the same values as us You must hold a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Rehab Counselling or Psychology, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiologist
- AHPRA/ASORC/ESSA accreditation Have a passion for helping people
- Hold a full driver's license and access to own car
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You enjoy working hard but equally enjoy having a good laugh
