Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner a leading mining & civil contractor committed to sustainable resource development and land rehabilitation. With a proven track record across Australia's mining regions, we are now seeking an experienced
Site Superintendent
to lead a high-profile mine rehabilitation project in Central Queensland.

About the Role:

As
Site Superintendent
, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all site operations on a large-scale mine rehab project. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and project milestones are met to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, including planning, coordination, and execution of mine rehabilitation works.
  • Lead and manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure strict compliance with WHS, environmental, and legislative requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to report on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver the project on time and within scope.
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on site.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in civil, mining, or environmental rehabilitation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mine closure and rehabilitation practices, landform recontouring, topsoil management, and revegetation techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Current QLD driver's licence (mandatory).
  • Relevant qualifications in civil construction, environmental science, project management or similar (desirable).
  • Experience working in remote or regional project locations.
  • Standard 11 - Statement of Attainment
  • S123 & G2 - Certificates
