Due to current strong growth in functions, the Fresh team in Brisbane has immediate vacancy for experienced permanent and casual Function Supervisor to join their Service brigade. Work across a diverse variety of functions and events spaces, including offsite corporate events and festivals, where no two days are ever the same.

**The Role**
- Generous bonus of $3000 after completing 6 months probation for permanent position
- Permanent role annual salary at $65,000 plus super per year
- For Casual role, rotating shift roster on Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat evenings, approximately 30 hours per week
- Run events across multiple spaces including offsite events
- Deliver exceptional client experiences across a range of functions and events including cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners
- Oversee all service related aspects of the function from set up, through service, and pack down
- Supervise a team of experienced function waiters and bartenders
- Be the client liaison throughout the event
- Work closely with the culinary team, keeping clear communication lines at all times
- Very strong interpersonal skills
- Prior experience as a Head Waiter or Function Supervisor desired
- Ideally coming from a 5-star background
- Excellent attention to detail
- A passion for executing amazing events.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-year experience in similar role, coming from well-established and fast-paced venues
- Passion and an extensive knowledge of the food and beverage offering
- Possess an eye for detail and a focus on customer experience
- Have strong communication skills
- Hold a valid RSA
