Head Waiter

Due to current strong growth in functions, the Fresh team in Brisbane has immediate vacancies for experienced Head Waiter (Function) to join their Service brigade. Work across a wide variety of functions and events at Waters Edge Portside and Queensland Museum - no two days are ever the same.
**The Role**
- Receive briefings from the Venue and Event Managers prior to the event
- Deliver exceptional client experiences across a range of functions and events including cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners
- Oversee all service related aspects of the function from set up, through service, and pack down
- Supervise a team of experienced function waiters and bartenders
- Be the client liaison throughout the event
- Work closely with the culinary team, keeping clear communication lines at all times
- Ideally coming from a 5-star background
- A passion for executing amazing events
- Casual rates M-F $30.95 Sat $37.14 Sun $43.33 plus super
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 6 months to 1-year experience in similar role
- Passion and an extensive knowledge of the food and beverage offering
- Have strong communication skills
- Hold a valid RSA
