Planner - Maintenance

Macmahon has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our team at Perth Head Office. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, this role ensures the coordination of all of the logístical issues and resource allocation for the underground team’s mobile maintenance weekly execution plans.

With over 55 years of experience, Macmahon is a mining contractor with a unique capability of offering its clients surface, underground and mining support services.

The Perth office is strategically located at the Airport (T1/T2) and boasts an impressive staff gym with personal and group training, free secure undercover parking, and electric vehicle charging stations.

**The role**
- Identify scope, work steps, resources & equipment required to achieve planned jobs
- Ensure labour and materials are specified for the identified jobs
- Create new work orders inclusive of scope of works, parts required, tooling required, labour resources required, supporting documents required
- Create the maintenance short term plans
- Ensure the plan is incorporated in the mine short term plan
- Management of backlog and forward logs
- Develop a one week schedule for each crew based on job priorities and resources
- Consolidate multiple jobs on the same equipment or system and proactive vs. reactive work available
- Manage the scheduled weekly plan
- Support the Maintenance Supervisors in the current week with breakdown work orders resource requirements and progress updates on the current week schedule
- Maintain workshop records, equipment records and registers in accordance with the Macmahon Business System (MBS)
- Review the effectiveness of the maintenance system for continuous improvement
- 5-10 years' mining or maintenance
- Demonstrated experience with various Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Direct experience with heavy mobile equipment maintenance
- Management of Capital Components at Corporate level
- Long term planning and forecasting experience
- Ability to work within multiple ERP programs and transfer data between the systems
- SAP experience preferred as SAP 4 H will be utilised
- Root Cause Analysis, Failure Analysis and off-board data analytics experience preferred
