**Position Descriptor**:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Music teacher to join our team at Brighton Secondary School. The successful applicant will teach across years 7-12 in the Special Interest Music, Core Music and co-curricular ensembles:

- Plan, deliver, and reflect on inclusive and engaging lessons and units aligned with the Australian Curriculum: The Arts (Music), SACE, and the priorities of Brighton's Special Interest Music program.
- Demonstrate high-level choral direction and personal musicianship (choral plus another music specialisation).
- Commit to out-of-hours work including rehearsals, performances, concerts, excursions, and tours.
- Collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, families, and the broader school community.
- Support student learning through formative and summative assessment practices and targeted feedback.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement.
- Actively engage in school life, including participation in house activities and home group responsibilities.
