A kind and loving family in Burraneer, Southern Sydney are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to care for their 2 happy and energetic boys (5 and 2 years).

**The days and normal hours are:

- 3 days - 12 hours**

**Tues - Thurs - 4pm - 8pm**

Potentially some more hours to be offered in the holiday times.

An ideal nanny would be nurturing, calm, happy and friendly. A nanny that is open to engaging and having fun with the children.

A nanny that is reliable, respectful and honest and can follow routines. Experience working with toddlers and preschoolers is a must for this role.

The role will consist of arriving at the home to walk the family dog (Mini Schnauzer), Additionally, some light household duties, cooking for the children, picking the children up from preschool/after school care, helping with homework, evening routines (bath, dinner & getting the children ready for bed, reading a book) and contributing to the smooth running of the household.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Walk the dog
- Follow afternoon/evening routines
- Play and engage with the children
- Preschool and Afterschool care pick up
- Homework and Read a book
- Preparation of meals and snacks for the children
- Cooking dinner for the children
- Assist with some light household duties -Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy and putting toys away.

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3 years experience working as a nanny or in childcare
- Childcare qualification preferred
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English.
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking/vaping
- Full drivers licence, confident driver and clean driving record (own car or can use family vehicle)
