We are seeking a positive and calm nanny and household manager to assist a busy family in Coogee. The role will be responsible to care for a bright and positive 10 year old girl and an easy going/playful energetic 7 year old boy.

**The days and normal hours over 4 days - 16 hours per week**

Monday 3.00pm - 7.00pm
Tuesday 3.00pm - 7.00pm
Wednesday 3.00pm - 7.00pm
Thursday 3.00pm - 7.00pm

Hours will likely be the same or similar hours all year including school holidays, however the times may change to be more day time hours on some of the school holiday days. Full yearly calendar is confirmed at the start of the year including any time off due to travel.

Additional hours may be required from time to time, later into the evening.

An ideal person will be bright and have a positive personality. Someone that is calm and likes to learn and foster/challenge a learning mindset in kids. Most and foremost the family are after a person that approaches every opportunity as learning for the children.

You must be able to follow the children’s routine, pick up from school, take to
activities(when required), help with homework and prepare lunch and 2 evening meals per week. Household support required 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) when the children’s dad will pick the children up from school and return them after dinner at 6pm. On these days some extra home help such as ironing and laundry will be required.

Additional support running errands such as drying cleaning or post office, shopping etc may be required on these days.

The family is looking for someone to stay with them long term and build a
lovely relationship with their children.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- Care for the children
- Provide routine and structure
- Pick up from school
- Assist with light household duties i.e. General tidying of the house, (no
cleaning required)
- Assist with homework
- Prepare lunches and 2 dinners a week for the children or family.
- Weekly washing and ironing
- Grocery Shopping (occasionally)
- Run Errands (occasionally)

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 2-3 years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Experience with managing household support or as a household manager
- Bright, calm and happy personality
- Motivated and reliable
- Speak Fluent English
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Able to cook healthy nutritious meals
- Full Drivers Licence and clean driving record
