- Pay: Up to $40-45 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to assist a lovely professional family in Tamarama. The nanny will be responsible for caring for two children (3 yr old girl and 2 yr old boy).

**The days and normal hours are 5 days - 30 hours per week (Flexible)**

Preference is for 3 afternoon shifts per week and 2 full days per week.

Ideal Hours

2 evenings per week 4pm - 8pm

and

Thursday 12pm -8pm

Friday 8am - 6.00pm

An ideal nanny will be caring, calm and nurturing. A nanny that has a positive happy personality, enjoys her job and has a genuine love of children. Prior experience with toddlers/preschoolers.

The role will consist of caring for the children, following the children’s routines, taking to activities, prepping and cooking meals (Children and family meals), organising the children’s rooms and occasionally dropping or picking up the children from pre-school.

The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is patient, responsible, trustworthy and reliable/punctual and can commit to the role on a long term basis, building a lovely relationship with the whole family.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- Care for the children
- Provide routine and structure
- Plan age appropriate activities
- Pick up/drop off the children to daycare/preschool (Occasionally)
- Make healthy nutritious meals for the family
- Take the children to activities and out for walks to the park or playground
- Assist with light household duties

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3 years + experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualification (preferred)
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Toddler/Preschool experience essential
- Display strong communication skills and also speak Russian or French,
- Basic cooking/food prep skills /enjoy cooking
- Full drivers licence and clean driving record (preferred)
