- Pay: $35 - $40 per hour (higher rate for tutor qualifications/experience)

An active, professional family in Coogee are seeking a bubbly and confident nanny to assist after school with the care of their happy and outgoing 10-year-old daughter.

**Note: Must Drive and have own vehicle (petrol and kms allowance)**

**The days and normal hours are 3 afternoons (negotiable days between Monday - Thursday)**

**Approximate times 2.30pm - 6.30pm**
- **Occasional support later in the evening once a fortnight may be required**:

- **Opportunity for occasional overnight stays**:

- **Care not required during school holidays**

An ideal nanny will be calm, respectful, and responsible. Someone who is kind and able to communicate honestly and openly with the family.

A nanny who is patient, self-motivated, and able to assist with homework and encourage reading and extension work.

The afternoon will involve light household duties, walking the dog, picking their daughter up from school, bringing her home, assisting with homework/reading, engaging in fun and educational activities and/or park visit, and driving to activities (dance and possibly swimming) on the required days.

The family have a four-year-old Cavoodle which will require being fed dinner and the occasional play/walk.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the child
- Pick up from school (own car required)
- Assist with homework, reading and extension work
- Take the child to the park, and to afternoon activities when required
- Cook family meals following a recipe or instructions provided
- Occasional grocery shop to pick up items for dinner
- Light housekeeping duties: assist the child with cleaning her room and put away her laundry, empty the dishwasher, clean up after food preparation
- Run errands on occasion

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a nanny or childcare
- Have a current First Aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Driver’s licence, clean driving record and own car required (petrol and kms allowance)
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non-smoker
- Basic cooking skills
- Tutor experience/qualifications a bonus
- Experience with ADHD beneficial
