**About the role**:
This is looking for a part-time position (2-3 days/week). Ideally, you will have a strong background in bookkeeping, to manage their accounts needs, and also able to assist with administrative functions at their architecture studio.

- Ideally, someone with experience handling residential client accounts and an appreciation of the complex invoicing requirements in the architecture and construction industries
- Is able to assist the team with administrative aspects of projects (i.e., making calls, following up, gathering information)
- Is confident interacting with third party consultants and local government departments
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Is able to work independently and is self-reliant
- Is willing to work in person at both their Ballarat and Melbourne offices and from home
- Enjoys being an integral part of a small team

**Requirements and skills**
- Great listening skills, coupled with note-taking habits (can effectively take down instructions and information)
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero preferred)
- Good knowledge of spreadsheet software (Mac OS suite preferred)
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical and formatting errors
- Good organisational and time-management abilities
- Self-motivated and problem-solving
- Previous experience in the Architecture, Design or Construction industries is preferred, not but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with Mac OS X and Google suite (Gmail, Google Doc, Calendar etc.)
- Generally smart user of IT systems
- Proficiency or willingness to learn Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) preferred

**Remuneration and benefits**

A competitive base salary ($60-80k FTE + statutory superannuation). There is also the option to work 1-3 days per week on flexible times and days

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
