We are looking for an energetic and professional individual to join our Heidelberg Cardiology Clinic testing team on a full-time basis.
Also known as the Patient Services Officer you are responsible for providing friendly administrative support to our staff and clinicians, booking and rescheduling testing, liaising with hospital staff and doctors.

**What you’ll do**:

- Check patient GP referrals with Medicare ensuring data accuracy
- Timely processing of correspondence to referrers and patients
- Respond to incoming phone calls promptly and provide a professional service in line with expectations
- Working with colleagues and other administrative staff to achieve efficient and effective management of medical appointments and other related clinical information via the Health Track system
- Booking and confirming patients for tests and consultations.

**Who you are**:

- Administration or customer service experience, preferably in health or aged care
- An ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasks
- An understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needs
- An ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team
- The ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal / external demands
- Valid Australian driver's license needed for occasional coverage at our Doncaster East clinic.
