**The company**:
Our client is a highly successful Australian FMCG company that is a market leader in their space. They are now looking for an indirect Procurement Category Manager to join their successful Procurement team.
**The role**:
**Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager your responsibilities will include**:
- Deliver sourcing activities ranging from simple RFQ to complex tenders to maximize commercial, operational and ESG outcomes.
- Identify opportunities, through spending analysis and partnering with Business Units
- Plan and execute sourcing activities and commercial negotiations in line with the business processes
- Deliver on all ESG standards
- Build and Maintain effective Supplier and Internal Relationships.
**Your Background**:
**In order to be successful in this role you will be;**
- Highly skilled at the preparation and execution of complex commercial negotiations.
- Exceptional ability to manipulate master data, crunch the numbers to identify spend trends and opportunities.
- Contribute to Procurement Strategy and Framework development and assist in leading organizational change.
- Extensive experience in undertaking procurement activities, ideally across a diverse range of categories.
- Food experience within FMCG is desirable
- Ability to present and influence ideas/findings to C-suite.
