**About the Role**
BOQ’s highly regarded Procurement team have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join their expanding team.

With the flexibility to be based out of our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office, you will be an experienced Procurement professional who will deliver procurement solutions that maximise value, manage risk, improve efficiencies and ensure quality for the BOQ Group.

You will be working across a broad range of areas primarily within the Financial Services category including Payments, Collections, ATM and cash services, Treasury, Foreign exchange, BPO, Card management and switching, technology / banking apps and platforms and Ratings agencies, therefore previous exposure to Banking & Finance will see you hit the ground running in the role.

A typical day will entail developing and delivering strategic sourcing solutions that support BOQ Group strategic direction, through the procurement lifecycle including planning, sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, stakeholder and supplier management.

You will enjoy identifying and delivering opportunities for savings based on improved efficiencies both for the Bank and for our Suppliers, and you will have top-tier stakeholder management skills to allow you to liaise with and support our business stakeholders.

As part of your role you will develop category plans in conjunction with key business stakeholders, ensuring an holistic view of the category activity across BOQ, a clear strategy for increasing value to BOQ, and robust plan of initiatives to realise that value. You will also reduce and manage risk through compliance with procurement policies and procedures, APRA material contract regulations, code of conduct, ethical practices and adherence with relevant laws and regulations throughout the procurement lifecycle

**About you**

We are looking for a customer-centric Procurement professional with a proven track record in overseeing all aspects of the procurement lifecycle including 'Go to Market' activities, proposal evaluation, commercial analysis and drafting and negotiation of complex contracts/agreements.

Due to the portfolio you will be partnering with, Banking & Financial Services experience will be highly desirable (however not mandatory).

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as is your ability to tailor your approach and communication style depending on your audience, which will assist in achieving outcomes and maintaining relationships across the business.
