We need two individuals who are resilient, kind, well organised and able to communicate humbly and clearly with our Rough Edges patrons, volunteers, Program Manager, and other key stakeholders.

If the answer is yes, perhaps becoming one of two new Rough Edges' Night Time Community Supervisors is where God may be calling you?

We need people who are resilient, kind, well organized and able to communicate humbly and clearly with our Rough Edges patrons, volunteers, Program Manager, and other key stakeholders. These roles are offered as job share opportunities, working between Monday to Thursday nights. It is expected that each role will work two nights per week, plus set up time, which is a total of 10 hours per week, per role.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience in working with people who are marginalised
- Love for Jesus and want to translate that love into practical care for vulnerable people
- Love for Christ's church and want to see more Christians volunteering to serve those on the margins
- Some practical experience in managing and working alongside volunteers
- Practical experience in building community connections with people inside and outside the church
- Lots of energy and don't take yourself too seriously

Rough Edges is an iconic community service situated in Darlinghurst. Originally established by St John's Anglican Church Darlinghurst, it was set up to provide warmth, acceptance and community to the homeless and vulnerable population of the Inner City of Sydney. It has a rich heritage of serving this community in Jesus' name since 1996.
