**About the Role**

The Manager, Emergency and Facilities Management is responsible for leadership within the Emergency Relief Functional Support Group (ERFSG) during emergency events, and other major incidents as required.

The role will represent the Trust across government on State Emergency Management matters. The role is also accountable for establishing and improving Business Continuity Plans and processes and taking a lead role in the implementation of incident management processes and training.

The Manager, Emergency and Facilities Management will lead the effective management of office accommodation maintenance and complex capital upgrades through existing Memorandum of Agreements with the Department of Infrastructure and Transport and the Department for Human Services.

**Requirements**:
Desirable - Tertiary Qualifications in Public Safety (Emergency Management) or related discipline

$121,107 - $125,679 (ASO8)

**Special Conditions**
- Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.
- Successful applicant will be required to hold a current Australian issued Driver’s Licence, which must be maintained.
- Successful applicant may be required to travel both intrastate and interstate on a regular basis.
- Successful applicant will be required to be on call regularly.
- Successful applicant will have a willingness to negotiate leave.
- Significant out of hours work will be required on an ongoing basis during emergency events.
