About The Role
The Manager, Corporate Financial Accounting, makes a significant contribution by leading the team that monitors the integrity and accuracy of financial accounting and management reporting for corporate financial information that contributes to the overall efficiency,

effectiveness and compliance of financial operations within the department.

The position leads and manages the preparation of the consolidated annual financial statements and relevant notes to accounts and other periodic consolidated financial management reports for the education portfolio including the elimination of transactions between the department and schools and preschools.

Qualifications
Essential:
Appropriate tertiary qualification in accountancy, business or commerce.

Desirable:
Completion or study towards membership of a professional accounting body or equivalent.

Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO8 $121, ,679 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
