**What you’ll be doing**:
This is a unique opportunity to join Virgin in a Senior Finance position, where you will regularly interface with Senior Leadership Team members. You will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and driving the public company financial, planning and analysis work stream. This includes developing new processes to support publicly listed company reporting, analysis, and disclosure requirements, including Investor Roadshow presentations, Full Year and Half Year announcements / presentations / speeches and preparation of Annual Reports.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Drives and develops new processes to support publicly listed company reporting, analysis, and disclosure requirements, including Investor Roadshow presentations, Full Year and Half Year announcements / presentations / speeches and preparation of Annual Reports.
- Responsible for Public Company workstream, ensuring strict governance that all data in every public disclosure has been cross checked and verified to the source
- Leads ad hoc analysis across divisions to support strategic decisions
- Responsible for developing, framing cross divisional analysis.
- Leads (in conjunction with GM) FP&A development and analysis of reports, presentations to support public company requirements (earnings reports, road shows, etc.) in conjunction with Investor Relations and Accounting
- Coaches and mentors Analyst(s) and drives workload and decision making.
- Supports EBA negotiations in conjunction with FP&A Operations team
- Supports monthly reporting and analysis including CFO/Board presentations, forecasts, annual budgets, investments, contracts, etc.
- Strategic partner for GM FP&A
- Proactively work with internal stakeholders across the VA Group
- Demonstrates leadership of the Financial Planning and Analysis teams for both your direct reports and the wider team

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Tertiary qualification in a related field
- Industry leader in data and respected by industry peers. Airline experience is preferred, but not required
- Extensive experience in financial reporting for ASX/Public companies, including demonstrated track record of success
- Proven track record in improving processes and delivering against deadlines
- Ability to think strategically and implement initiatives in a way that delivers business outcomes
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders and confidently lead and mentor others
- High level of knowledge and understanding of business processes, leadership, risk management and implementation of change
- Confident Leader that can motivate staff, and is respected by both executives and subordinates
