Operations Officer Release

**About the role**

As an Operations Officer in the Post Fulfilment Team, you will perform duties that include Release of Security requests, provision of Loan Payout figures and completion of loan payouts on settlement, enabling Great Southern Bank to continue to support our customers under agreed performance outcomes. You will support your colleagues to learn and grow in their roles and role model the highest standards of customer service.

The Post Fulfilment team manages the Lending process after settlement has been completed through to loan payout and closure. Communicating directly with borrower, or their agents, we aim to meet release settlement time frames, following policy and procedures. The team is responsible for accepting settlement invitations, providing loan payout figures, completing release of Mortgage documentation and closing loans post settlement.

**About you**
- Experience and knowledge of Release settlements. Knowledge of the broader Release Settlement process of various states and experience and understanding of PEXA.
- Ability to work to time frames for time sensitive matters, and ability to self-manage workloads
- Strong analytical, reasoning and problem resolution skills with the ability to consider and integrate a broad range of factors in structuring and making decisions
- Demonstrated relationship management, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills
- Commercially minded and self-managed, with the ability to work within the boundaries of compliance and recommend commercially practical solutions
- Sound interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, professionalism, diplomacy
- Strong computer skills and a proven ability to adapt to new computer/system environments
- Experience in a Retail lending environment, debt recovery experience and previous relationship management experience in a financial services environment may be desirable
- Knowledge of relevant finance industry standards,
- Understanding of relevant Acts, Codes and legislation (e.g. CCC, Code of Practice, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, Financial Services Reform Act)

- Industry related study or qualifications
