**Here is a little window into our company**:H&L POS are currently providing a point-of-sale solution to over 2500 clients across Australia. Leading in the pub sector with large accounts such as ALH, Rockpool, AVC, Solotel, and much more. H&L POS is an Aspire Software company has been the leading provider of point-of-sale and inventory management solutions to the hospitality and food and beverage industry for over 30 years and is embarking on a new era of product growth, building a new generation of POS (Point of Sale) and Inventory Management software solutions. The intuitive and customer-centric approach behind our innovative products is why so many venues choose H&L, and why many of our customers are multi-award winners. Our goal is to build on our reputation and be the very best at providing in-house developed software to the growing food & beverage market. **What your day will look like**:
- Our sales team drives our company to find new customers, retain current customers, and develop innovative solutions for bettering our product and service.
- As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in establishing relationships and marketing our company's brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional.
- The work you do on the phone is directly linked to successful outcomes resulting from customer retention and word-of-mouth sales.
- You would be a great fit for our team if you like to combine superior listening and communication skills with an outgoing personality to build instant rapport and further our business initiative.

**Responsibilities**:
- Follow an outlined script and advertise our products via phone to interested consumers in a manner that is professional and honest.
- Research and understand our product line and be familiar with each product's function and purpose, so you can confidently upsell our customers to compatible products.
- Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference and to answer questions.
- Listen attentively to consumer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage product sale.
- Showcase the company's strengths and highlight our brand by talking exclusively about the characteristics that make our organization unique.
- Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and personal as well as team goals for the upcoming week.
**About you**:
- High school diploma or degree
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Superior listening skills
- Ability to maintain an organized and professional workspace
- Experience in customer service, sales, and/or retention
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- A "roll up the sleeves" attitude towards problem-solving
- Bring a proven entrepreneurial spirit and pace-setter traits
- Experience in working in a Hospitality based role advantageous
- Comfortable working independently as well as in a team
- You will be based in South Australia or Victoria where we have significant office environments
- Legally authorized to work in Australia
