Lead a team of passionate town planners, providing advice to internal and external stakeholders on development within the City of Parramatta.

**About the role**
Due to a recent development opportunity, we have a _contract_ Team Leader role (up to 20 months) available in our Development Advice Team.

The Team deals with the following processes:

- Lodgement Advisory Meetings
- Pre-lodgement Meetings
- Pre-lodgement Design Review Panel Meetings
- Duty Planner bookings and enquiries
- NSW Planning Portal lodgement assessment
- Responses to written correspondence

**About You**
- Outstanding communication, coaching & mentoring skills.
- A solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to deal with issues and change in a proactive, positive and dynamic way.
- A degree in Town Planning or related field.
- Extensive previous experience (10 years) working in Local Government as a town planner (_desired_)
- Exceptional project management and communications skills.
- Experience in managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.

**What’s on offer**
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $128,725 to $135,952 (including super).
