**About the role**
- This role is responsible for leading a significant step-change in our website, which plays a fundamental role in our marketing strategy. Working with our agency partners, this role will assess current state, define a solid strategy then project manage the implementation of activity to deliver an improved website that leads to a great experience for a broad-section of users.
- Key Responsibilities include:
- **Audit and Research**: _Consulting with both internal stakeholders and external users, undertake research to better understand the current user experience and set meaningful objectives for the website._
- **Identify opportunities for improvements in UX/UI and SEO Performance**: Clearly define UX/UI and SEO strategies to improve the website's overall performance, ensuring website structure and content is optimised for search engines and provide a great user experience.
- **Lead the implementation of identified improvements**: Working with agency partners along with internal marketing and communications specialists, to manage the implementation of identified opportunities for improvement - monitor progress and delivery of tasks as required, and successfully roll out website optimisations and innovations in a timely manner.
- **Monitor performance**: Establish robust processes which monitor website analytics to track progress against defined objectives and ensure that the website delivers an excellent user experience.
- Working in a lean and agile environment, this is an important leadership position that will play a key role in the design and delivery of broader CIM team initiatives. The position is located at our Support Office in Hawthorn East, just 10 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD.
**About you**
- Extensive experience with Content Management Systems - particularly Craft or WordPress
- Experience in redesigning existing websites, with measurable improvements in key metrics (site traffic, load times, dwell time, SEO performance, etc)
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, with an understanding of what’s needed to ensure the website is accessible to people with disabilities and compliant with web accessibility standards
- A solid understanding of SEO, and an ability to analyse website analytics to deliver meaningful insights. Experience using google analytics, SEMRush, AHREFS, etc preferred
- Excellent project management skills are required, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
