**Your Role**:
As a Teacher Aide you will contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Provide in-class support for students with complex specialised learning & behavioural needs as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Support students in reading activities and other literacy and numeracy duties.
- Assist teachers and students with sporting activities and school excursions
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate high levels of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
- Show respect, empathy, confidentiality, tact, reliability, and sensitivity to students and their families.
- Provide clerical assistance including typing, duplicating teaching materials, and organising off-site activities
- Assist in preparing, storing, making available, and clearing away teaching equipment and materials.
- Support teaching staff with playground and bus supervision.
- Contribute to the welfare, health, and safety of students including delivering first aid.
- Assist in science demonstrations, têxtile and cooking classes, and locating reference materials.
- Perform other suitable duties as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
