Craigslea State High School provides a caring, safe and disciplined learning environment for Years 7 to 12. Founded in 1975, Craigslea State High School is an independent public school located on approximately 10 hectares. **Your role**:
**The successful applicant will have the ability to**:

- Deliver numeracy support to students acorss year 7 - 11
- Motivate and foster positive working relationships with students
- Demonstrate and explain numeracy concepts in 'student friendly' terms
- Collaborate with support teachers and classroom teachers to improve students outcomes
- Deliver consistent, reliable and professional level of support

**What you need to succeed**:
**The ideal applicant will be someone who is**:

- Proficient in Maths
- Reliable, highly motivated, well organised and able to work individually and as part of an intervention team
- Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with students and colleagues
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and navigating operating systems including OneNote, iPad and MS Windows environments. If not, a demonstrated ability to learn new systems is desirable.
- Able to demonstrate confidentiality, tact and sensitivity to students and their families
- Committed to improving outcomes for students
- Key Duties include and are not limited to:

- Supporting teachers in delivering learning for identifiedd students in Years 7-11 as directed
- Flexibly supporting student learning and wellbeing in a full class, small group or individual setting within timetabled Maths lessons
- Maintaining accurate records of student support adjustments for assessment
- Fostering productive working relationships with students
- Upholding School Behaviour and Expectations Standards
- Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective member of the Numeracy Intervention Team
- Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing students' progress
- Providing lunch time tutorial support
- Playground duty supervision

**Mandatory requirements**:

- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
