**About the role**

Join one of Australia’s largest design teams as a Head of Design led by our Chief Design Officer.

The Head of Design, Personal Everyday Banking will own the overall design strategy and hold accountability for the design experiences within the Personal Everyday Banking Chapter in the nab.design team. This role will provide direction for end-to-end experience for our customers and colleagues across digital, physical, and human channels, by partnering with the business and other design teams.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Understanding of group business requirements, strategies and priorities to enable translation into Digital, Data & Analytics (DD&A) strategies and operations plans. Gain Leadership Team approval for strategic outcomes.
- Direct and oversee the provision of high-quality diagnostic, analysis and advisory services across the group in line with the business and customer requirements.
- Contribute directly to the strategic direction of DD&A as a member of the nab.design senior leadership group. Ensure the maximum value is derived from our global position in the market.
- Act as an advocate for the nab.design chapter, ensuring that business units are engaged to align their business needs with the DD&A strategies.
- Lead and motivate team members including role modelling behaviours, coaching, mentoring, performance management and the identification of training and development needs.

- Thinks broadly within defined strategies and policies to meet business needs. These roles have the scope to adapt the budgets, policies, and procedures within broadly defined parameters.
- Deliver and manage the operational requirements or outcomes of a team that is integrated across the enterprise to agreed metrics/objectives.
- Strategic thought leadership across the team, defining a vision for a future customer experience and influence stakeholders of transformation charters and roadmaps to deliver on that vision.
- Collaborate and influence senior business stakeholders to ensure experiences match customer expectations and positively drive NPS.
- Direct the overall quality of experience design at NAB.
- Coach and develop team members personally and professionally in their roles.
- Connect the business with the value of HCD and drive a shift in mindset across the organisation to deliver on exceptional experiences for our customers.
