We are seeking a passionate and talented Head of Fraud, to join the Personal Everyday Banking team, reporting to the Executive. You will be responsible for driving Personal Everyday Banking’s response to changes in the external fraud environment and leading our fraud risk settings for Personal Everyday Banking and will be highly visible to our executive team and across the organisation. You will be driving outcomes to ensure our customers and colleagues are supported when dealing with fraud. This is an exciting and high-profile role in a very dynamic environment. You will work closely with teams across NAB, including the wider Personal Everyday Banking product teams, Group Investigations & Fraud team, Financial Crime Operations, divisional control and second-line risk teams, as well as be a key liaison with our scheme partners and regulatory agencies. This role requires a strong understanding of the consumer payments industry, fraud practices, emerging trends, and regulatory and scheme requirements.

**What you will do**
- Lead a Personal Everyday Banking Fraud team with core responsibility to set up, run and govern fraud risk settings covering all Personal Everyday Banking products and associated fraud topologies
- Drive the management of aligning Personal Everyday Banking strategy with Group fraud risk settings
- Co-ordinate and oversee fraud risk strategies to support delivery of Personal Everyday Banking’s financial, customer and risk goals.
- Oversight of the monthly Fraud sub-risk committee supporting the Executive, Personal Everyday Banking Executive to evaluate fraud performance across the Personal Everyday Banking portfolio
- Financial oversight of the fraud losses incurred by Personal Everyday Banking
- Work closely with cross functional teams to:

- Be a key decision maker and advisor to changes impacting customers and colleagues across the fraud value chain
- Share practices and learnings and identify innovative ways to improve and strive for best in class to deliver the best experience for our customers and our business

**What we’re looking for**
- 8+ years’ experience and deep knowledge of fraud prevention and detection strategies, tools and techniques in banking, with a focus on consumer payments
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory and scheme requirements and industry standards related to fraud prevention and detection
- An experienced leader to develop a team of fraud specialists
- Proven ability to lead high-performing cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions and build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Experience working with payment networks and regulators is a plus
