APG Workforce are currently looking for a Site Works and Development Coordinator for a 6-month contract within a Government sector based in Sydney.
**Start Date**:ASAP
**End Date: 3 Months **+ possible extension
**Pay: $67.52 Per Hour + super**
**Location: Olympic Park**
**Primary purpose of the role**
The Site Works and Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all works and commercial development activities in the public domain and facilitating proper utility service connections including the coordination of development activities with major event and non-event operations.
**Key accountabilities**
- Administer and deliver the site works and development coordination function to ensure procedural compliance, effective communication, continuous improvement, detail and accuracy of work and working within time and resource constraints.
- Assist event managers, place managers and activity supervisors to coordinate and integrate the routine delivery of events, works and service programs with new property developments and their tenants or capital works.
- Guide and assist SOPA development managers, and external development representatives to be aware of and understand the strategic and operational issues critical to Precinct Co-ordination in maintaining the proper routine and major event function of the Township and Parklands.
- Operate and implement the Sydney Olympic Park work permit process, including the receipt, processing and issue of work and development permits to SOPA work sponsors and their clients for all new developments and capital works projects, and managing all road occupancy, road openings and assessing traffic management plans.
- Represent SOPA Precinct Co-ordination in liaison with appropriate representatives from the range of venues and premises in the Park, in terms of seeking, checking, confirming and conveying appropriate site management information and commitments.
- Assist site managers and asset managers to take event operations into account in planning their operations and work routines and contingencies by projecting site activity levels, highlighting potential conflicts, negotiating event priorities with stakeholders and assisting with event operational activities.
- Provide prompt and accurate information, reporting, and advice to management, on events and other operational matters likely to impact significantly on one or more of site operations, asset management or visitor programs.
- Prepare and communicate site activity Notifications to Operations and Sustainability staff and other site stakeholders in advance of any major new events being staged, property developments commencing, major asset maintenance tasks being undertaken or new capital works starting.
**Essential**:
- Previous experience working in a similar position
- Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain RMS Traffic Controller, Implement Traffic Control Plans, Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan.
