We are looking for an experienced talent with commercial skills who can provide digital thought leadership and insights in order to lead the successful digital, transformational change across our three brands; sass and bide, Marcs and David Lawrence.
As the Group Head of Digital, you will be responsible for leading our digital, e-commerce, CRM, and Customer Care teams to drive significant opportunity to build revenue and broaden our impact through digital delivery.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your responsibilities include;
- Prepare, develop and lead digital transformation through an annual digital strategy, working with and through the brands and support teams, continuously improving the effectiveness and impact of the brands.
- Develop and execute digital campaigns, monitor and interpret analytic data, and optimize the functionality of our digital infrastructure and ecosystem.
- Lead resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of projects/initiatives to deliver change in line with availability and business requirements.
- Lead end-to-end delivery digital projects, including technology delivery, and change management required to improve, implement and embed digital systems and processes.
- Ensure best practices and processes across the e-commerce team for the consistent delivery of projects in line with the digital strategy.
- Develop on-going plans for strategy delivery activities and manage any allocated resources to ensure that the team delivers to committed tasks.
- Research solutions and make recommendations for the improvement of systems and infrastructure.
- Champion ongoing cycle of website improvement to achieve optimal customer experience and online store performance.
- With Ecommerce Managers, manage the relationship and performance of all external partners related to and supporting on the implementation of the website platforms and ongoing maintenance and support (includes 3PL and delivery providers)
- Manage retention strategies to further engage the current customer base across the brands.
- Search out continuous improvement in customer relationship management and implement new systems and communications to deliver this, including process improvement to optimise customer experience.
- Deliver revenue budgets in line with business and brand expectations.
**About you**:
- Able to provide strategic advice to leadership teams and senior management on digital transformation and you will be expected to contribute to wider business initiatives and development activities at a senior level.
- You will be a visible leader and an excellent communicator and people manager, who can support and develop your team
- Passionate about the use of data and technology to deliver brand growth
- Excellent financial and business acumen
- Tertiary qualification in Digital Marketing, Marketing, E-commerce or similar an advantage
- Previous experience in an ecommerce and digital role at a senior or executive level
