Reporting into the General Manager, the Head of eCommerce & Digital is responsible for driving growth domestically and across international markets (UK, US, EU & Asia). You’ll develop and lead the roadmap for our eCommerce expansion across new geographical areas and product lines, managing and optimising omnichannel solutions and tactics locally and internationally.
You’ll work collaboratively with the Global Head of Marketing to ensure the eCommerce strategy is aligned to the brand identity and goals, whilst leading the day-to-day ecommerce operations globally with the support of an ecommerce executive, merchandiser, creative and technical team. This position demands a growth-focused mindset with the ability to leverage technology, data, and ecommerce best practices to drive the revenue growth of our online channels globally.
**About the role**:
- Develop and lead the **global ecommerce growth strategy** leveraging technology, data and best
- practice to drive revenue growth, conversion, customer retention and repeat purchase
- Manage **website platforms and conversion optimisation** globally including user experience, sales operations and data analytics
- Develop and execute an **omnichannel strategy** across the customer journey, transforming social media channels into revenue driving platforms
- Lead and develop a **best-in-class user experience **and execute across online platforms, delighting our customers, driving conversion, loyalty and retention
- Develop **affiliate marketing programs** in conjunction with the Global Head of Marketing.
- **Partner **with software developers, copywriters, and graphic designers to bring the ecommerce strategy to life and improve performance.
- Develop and implement CRM strategies that enhance **customer lifetime value**, increase repeat purchases and reduce customer churn
- Weekly/monthly analysis and **reporting on performance metrics** such as sales by department, new product sell-through and offering code performance
- **Analyse data** and develop **consumer insights **on shopping trends to identify gaps and opportunities, including analysis of sales to inform merchandising
- **Team Leadership **and line management of dedicated eCommerce team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and achievement
- Manage the **eCommerce budget**, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to deliver the maximum return on investment.
- Work closely with **demand planning and warehousing teams** in order to ensure smooth order fulfilment
**About you**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related
- 7+ years experience in an ecommerce role, preferable in a global context with proven track record of driving growth
- Deep understanding of ecommerce strategies, trends, technologies and analytics
- Strategic and analytical, with the ability to use data to develop insights and opportunities
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets, meet target revenues and profitability
- Strong stakeholder management experience with ability to influence and drive strategic and commercial initiatives across the organisation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams
- A forward thinking, innovative, strategic marketer who thrives on results and enjoys being hands on
- Experience within a fashion or niche industry retailer ideal
- Proficiency in ecommerce platforms, analytics tools, and user experience best practices
- Platforms experience: Shopify, Google Analytics
