**The Role**

As the Mission and Membership Resource Officer, you will have a pivotal role in supporting St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland (SVdP) to be a mission and values led organisation. You will work closely with the General Manager - Mission and Membership in developing a variety of mission and membership-centric resources to assist with the formation of our members, volunteers, staff and broader community.
You will work with the broader Mission and Membership team to assist in enhancing mission and spirituality through development and renewal of resources, intranet platform content, and face-to-face formation opportunities when required as well as overseeing the overseas partnerships program in line with strategic and operation objectives and actions to ensure SVdP is true to its purpose.

This is a **PERMANENT, FULL-TIME Position (38 hours per week**) role based in** Brisbane.**

Desired Skills and Experience

**What you’ll bring**:

- Promote and support the integration of the Society's Mission by fostering understanding, taking action, and facilitating ongoing development and education for all Society representatives, in collaboration with the Director of Mission.
- Collaborate with the broader membership team, Membership Advisory Committee, Director of Mission, and General Manager to develop, renew, and refresh all membership resources.
- Develop resources for the mission and membership department ensuring alignment with established processes and policies.
- Develop charism and values-based ongoing mission training for staff, under the guidance of the Director of Mission.
- Develop mission-focused resources tailored for Society volunteers
- Present and deliver Mission training for staff across the southeast corner of Queensland.
- Create templates for key membership resources to ensure consistency and ease of use.
- Develop and deliver resources and training on Catholic Social Teaching for members, volunteers, and staff.
- Participate in and contribute to all Mission, Membership, and broader team gatherings.
- Undertake project work as required to support the Membership and Development team, Membership Advisory Committee, General Manager, Director of Mission, and the broader department in resource development.
- Oversee the administration and operation of the Overseas Partnership Program and Twinning program for Queensland in line with National Secretariat.
- Assist with and facilitate all other mission-based events, content creation, project work, and support activities as directed.
- Support a culture of safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the operations, with demonstrated year on year improvements in all areas.
- Undertake other duties, which are assigned from time to time by your manager.
- Comply with their WHS duties and responsibilities in accordance with the document WHS Directive: WHS Roles and Responsibilities (up to and including “Supervisors / Managers”) and the WHS Act 2011In all duties, comply with the behavioural expectations set out in the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland Code of Conduct, and our policies and procedures.
