You will be joining the Enterprise Applications team, who provides engineering capability to the Corporate, Liquor & Emerging Technology group as well as other areas of technology and the business. The team is responsible for designing, authoring, testing and deploying technology solutions for the enterprise, as well as production support.

**About the role**:
As the Testing Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of testing outcomes of all ongoing projects and support within Enterprise Applications and the overall Corporate, Liquor & Emerging Technology as well as support the adoption, evolution and maintenance of the Quality Engineering capability within a group of business units, to maximise agility, accelerate test automation adoption, and unlock efficiencies.

You will be leading a team of permanent team members, contractors and vendors. You provide leadership, coaching, support and act as an enabler to your squads to balance support, technology, delivery and outcomes in alignment with the wider group’s objectives.

Your stakeholder management skills are exceptional, and you will work collaboratively with the Business Stakeholders, Business Programme Managers and Implementation partners to ensure delivery success.
Extensive automation testing experience is a must have for this role, including demonstrated success with implementing Automated Testing solutions.

**Good things you’ll need**:

- At least 10 years’ experience in the automation, development, and testing fields.
- 5 years senior as a Test Manager of digital products in an agile environment, with experience delivering large programs of work, including operation support.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing technical solutions in large scale, complex and distributed environments.
- Advanced understanding of all aspects of the technology’s broader operational environment (i.e., processes, procedures, associated toolsets, operating systems, etc.).
- Strong automated testing experience, including demonstrated success with implementing Automated Testing solutions
- Demonstrated experience managing automated testing, both in terms of process and tools (e.g., Microfocus ALM, Jira, Microsoft Test Manager, etc).
- Previous experience with creating Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) test automation frameworks compatible with diverse technology stacks.
- Demonstrated experience with testing aspects of DevOps including IaC for continuous testing purposes using tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins or AzureDevOps.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, products, and services in a hybrid cloud environment, with a technical background.
- A proven track record in people management and experience in building and leading teams
- Proven capabilities in vendor, partner and stakeholder relationship management including the negotiation and management of outsource agreements and delivery to agreed service levels.
