JIVARO is currently working with an established national pure-play retailer on an exciting growth path. We are actively seeking a highly motivated, driven, and passionate Merchandise Buyer to join their team to manage the end-to-end financial performance for one of their largest categories.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver product strategies for each brand/category within the portfolio
- Manage complete range process from selection, order placement and financial performance of the business to deliver key metrics
- Accountable for end to end execution of category to deliver key metrics
- Maintaining, growing and building supplier relationships
- You will be accountable for the product lifecycle, promotional tactics and product placement to maximise sell through
- Working closely with the corporate teams to drive opportunity within your category and the wider business
- Advanced understanding of the market, customer segmentation, trends and competitive landscape

**To be successful you will have**:

- 3-5 years’ experience
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Advanced trend analysis and ability to implement according to strategy
- Aware of competitive landscape and commercially driven
- Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite, experience with Netsuite is desirable but not essential
- Strong Communication skills both written and verbal
- Self motivated, you are a go getter who wants to drive your category to further growth and success
