**About the role**:
BCF are seeking an Assistant Merchandise Planner who will be responsible for supporting the Merchandise Planner to maximize sales, profit and return on investment through accurate and effective management, execution and communication of merchandise financial plans. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants a career pathway to becoming a Planner. The role will be based at the Support Office in Strathpine, Brisbane where they are hybrid working arrangements available.

Each day will bring something different, but the key responsibilities of this role will be:

- Contribute to the development and delivery of Business Unit Strategy.
- Ensure that demand and replenishment is at the required level to meet budgets
- Provide analysis and reporting to support and optimise performance
- Respond to and resolve customer and stock requests
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive business outcomes

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will be a results driven and outcome focused individual, who will also bring:

- Allocation experience with demand planning and allocation in a Junior Planner role.
- Experience from a multi-location retailer
- Apparel experience is preferred
- Leadership qualities - excellent communication and influencing skills, ability to interpret complex data and cope under pressure
- Category or Merchandising experience
- Retail experience (Store or Support Office)
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel and a knowledge of SAP
- Tertiary qualification related to Business or Retail Desired
