The purpose of the P&C Business Partner role is to bring to life our Metcash Purpose of Championing Successful Independents, delivering the Group People Strategy with a local flavour to the Metcash Food pillar (business unit). P&C Business Partners nurture passionate leaders, who create constructive cultures, where our people have a strong sense of belonging and connection. This role will support 3 Food executives and their leadership teams and deliver projects to improve our culture and employee experience across all of Food. **In this Role** - Help deliver the Metcash Group People Strategy and Plan, tailoring where necessary to meet the specific needs of the Food pillar to influence our Culture, develop constructive Leadership to foster team engagement, support talent development and lead organisational change. - Develop the State or function annual people plan for those teams you partner, which enable the state or function to achieve its business goals. - Act as the people lead in major business changes, providing key stakeholders with capability, support, and effective people-related change management practices to deliver and embed major change. - Identify, design, and implement initiatives to ensure the Food team have the right talent, in the right place, at the right time to Champion Successful Independents - Work closely with our P&C Advice teams to understand major trends, working proactively to address underlying issues and focusing on continuous improvement. **You’re Likely a Match If you have** - Extensive experience in a P & C / HR BP role operating at Senior Leadership level - Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including varied levels of seniority - Proven ability to leverage data, develop insights, and develop and implement plans to change culture - Experience in facilitating and running processes associated with people lifecycle to deliver quality outcomes for the Food pillar - An adaptable, capable coach with extensive experience - Ability to work autonomously and part of a team - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs - Adaptable and relatable style, with the ability to connect with colleagues at all levels of the organisation - Exposure to IR/ER and an understanding of the industrial relations landscape is an advantage **Life at Metcash** Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
