**Main purpose of job**:
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to people living with a disability, promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion in the community, in line with client goals and the NDIS Practice Standards.

**Position reports to**:
Team Leader

**Location**:
Bega, NSW

**Salary**:
Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

**Main tasks of job**:

- Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation;
- Follow individual client plans, support strategies, and behaviour support plans as directed;
- Promote choice, control, and independence for each client;
- Support clients with transport to appointments, activities, and community programs;
- Document and report on client progress, incidents, and concerns accurately and in a timely manner;
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, families, and colleagues;
- Uphold and follow all organisational policies, procedures, and NDIS quality and safeguarding standards;
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients;
- Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and required training;
- Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Team Leader.

**Licences, registrations and qualifications**:

- Current driver’s licence;
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate;
- Working with Children Check (WWCC);
- NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant qualification (desirable);
- Experience in disability support or related human services field (desirable).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.16 - $53.44 per hour

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bega NSW 2550: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification and CPR (required)

**Location**:
