We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Service Manager to join our team and lead the way in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support within our Home Care & Supported Living service at our Zion, Gympie service. As the Service Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring regulatory compliance, achieving financial sustainability, and fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders and the community.
**About the role**:
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
**Strategic Leadership**: Developing and executing a strategic plan aligned with Lutheran Services’ vision to drive the success of the Home Care & Supported Living services.
**Quality Care**: Collaborating with the clinical and care teams to maintain evidence-based care that meets regulatory standards and organisational policies.
**Financial Management**: Managing budgets and resources effectively to meet key performance indicators and ensure long-term financial viability of both home care and retirement living business units.
**Stakeholder Engagement**: Building and maintaining relationships with clients, residents, families, local communities, government agencies, and industry professionals.
**Team Empowerment**: Leading and supporting a diverse team of professionals through effective management practices, fostering innovation, and ensuring positive client outcomes.
**Compliance and Continuous Improvement**: Overseeing compliance with external regulations and internal policies, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
**Community Integration**: Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to establish connections within the local community and contribute to growth targets.
**About you**:
To thrive in this role, you will possess a relevant qualification in Management, Business, or related field and have demonstrated experience in the Community / In-home Aged Care industry.
With your deep commitment to person centred care principles, you will have profound critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, be familiar with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation and strong financial acumen, including CHSP & HCP funding knowledge.
A tertiary qualification in Allied Health or Nursing and/or experience in Retirement Living is highly desirable.
