**Calling all architects, landscape architects and professionals in urban design**

**Want to help shape the design quality, including the character, sustainability, safety and functionality of buildings throughout Cockburn for generations to come?**

The City of Cockburn is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) to be part of an eight-member Design Review Panel (DRP).

Panel members will be appointed for a period of two years and will be paid an hourly rate to attend meetings when required.

**Responsibilities**

Panel members will also:

- Attend meetings as required in person or online
- Peer review major development proposals in accordance with State Planning Policy 7.0 Design of the Built Environment.
- Provide advice on structure plan design/ urban design matters relating to structure plans
- Provide advice on policy formulation relating to design matters

**Qualifications**

Degree qualified in architecture, landscape architecture or urban design.

Panel members must have:

- Experience with design review
- Skills beneficial to the role
- Familiarity with the Western Australian State and Local Planning Framework.
