**How you’ll make an impact**
Due to continuous and exciting growth, we’re currently recruiting for multiple Disability Support Workers to join our team throughout Melbourne metropolitan
- south-eastern suburbs, including Noble Park, Doveton and Cranbourne. You’ll be responsible for providing quality services and safeguards to our Participants with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.
A day in the life as a Disability Support Worker with CareChoice, may see you supporting our Participant with:
- Building on individual strengths and enabling Participants to reach their goals.
- 24-hour complex supports
- Supported Independent living
- Community access and transport
- Domestic and Personal care
**About you**
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have demonstrated experience providing support to participants with high complex needs and have the following skills and attributes:
- Covid19 Digital Vaccination Certificate or Immunisation Statement
- Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification
- Experience within the industry (eg. disability, mental health, aged care, individual support, community services or youth work etc.)
- Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish professional relationships with participants and their families
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
- Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willing to obtain
- First Aid, CPR, WWCC and NDIS Worker Orientation module
- Current Driver’s License with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (**mandatory**).
