**About the role**
We are currently seeking a business development consultant in the Brisbane area with the skills and knowledge to work on growing our business in the NDIS space. Your key responsibility will be as a brand ambassador to drive business growth of our services across all our NDIS offerings. Working in conjunction with our Service delivery and participant care teams you will provide excellent customer service, in order to provide quality outcomes for our participants.

This role is based on building relationships with industry contacts as well as participants, advocates, families, and carers looking for services.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Bringing in new NDIS Participants for our In-home Support Services
- Networking & meeting with Support Coordinators, hospitals, mental health departments and other registered NDIS Providers
- Attending networking events, conferences, and other important relationship-building events
- Generate and manage new relationship opportunities and convert leads into prospects
- Facilitate and manage a partnership approach with families and supporters
- Assist with documenting, reporting, explaining NDIS funding support information
- In partnership with our marketing team drive marketing through social media and other digital channels
- Participate and share the responsibility of an on-call roster

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to build relationships, professional, hardworking, and self-motivated

You will possess the following:

- Previous experience in Business Development or Customer Service role
- Strong people skills and an ability to build rapport with customer/potential customers
- Self-motivated and a high degree of working under pressure and being time and process driven
- Exceptional communication skills - you’re a natural communicator and empathetic towards our participants and their families
- Knowledge of NDIS practice standards,
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Being flexible, adaptable and willingness to support participants
- Exceptional customer service skills

The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) worker screening clearance, Working with Children Check, and National Criminal History check. You must also have the NDIS Worker Orientation certificate

**Who we are**
NNA Direct Support Service was created to help Australians living with disabilities, their families, and carers. As part of Network Nursing Agency (NNA), we offer in-home support to NDIS participants and caregivers through our large network of support workers and nurses.

Our in-home support services are currently available to people and families across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Queensland.
